Admiralty 'S' Type

destroyer

These destroyers were lent to the RCN to replace the two Thornycroft 'M' type ships, while two of the new RIVER class destroyers (SAGUENAY and SKEENA) were being built in Britain. They were stationed on opposite coasts, like PATRIOT and PATRICIAN, to provide reserve training. Both were paid off in 1936, and scrapped.
