This list includes all surface combatants, submarines, mine warfare
vessels and patrol craft over 100 tons displacement, and all amphibious
ships and auxiliaries over 500 tons displacement.  Non-self-propelled
craft and vessels without seagoing capability are not included. 

Ships not yet commissioned, or in long-term overhaul/conversion, are
listed in [brackets].  Navigation and surface-search radars are not
listed.  All designations & classifications are unofficial; they may or
may not correspond to "official" designations.

Surface Combatants

SF3000 project expeditionary frigates

Displacement: 4,100 tons full load Dimensions: 136 x 19 x 6.3 meters Propulsion: diesel, 2 shafts Crew: Radar: Sonar: Fire Control: EW: Armament: VL Sea Sparrow, 1 76mm OTO DP, modular weapons A new program for two large multipurpose surface combatants, intended as expeditionary support ships. Will use modular weapons and systems to adapt to various roles, including command, surface combatant, mine countermeasures, humanitarian relief, and amphibious ship; will have side and stern vehicle ramps and a large flight deck.

Nils Juel class large corvettes

Flyvefisken class (Stanflex 300 type) multirole patrol boats

Displacement: 320 tons full load (basic configuration) Dimensions: 54 x 9 x 3 meters (177 x 29.5 x 10 feet) Propulsion: 1 L500 gas turbine, 1 shaft, 5,680 shp 30 knots; 2 diesels, 2 shafts, 6,960 bhp, 19 knots Crew: 17 (up to 28 in other configurations) Radar: AWS-6 air search (TSR-3D in later units) Sonar: TSM 2640 hull EW: Sabre intercept, Cygnus jammer Armament: 1 76 mm OTO DP, 1 12.7 mm MG (basic configuration) These are multirole patrol boats with can accomodate equipment for a variety of roles. They can serve as gunboats, missile boats, minesweepers (with drone minehunters), fast minelayers. Also can serve as survey ships, oceanographic research ships, buoy tenders, fisheries patrol ships, etc. Modules include 76 mm OTO, cranes, minelaying, air defense (6 cell vertical launch Sea Sparrow), antiship (4 Harpoon), torpedo (2 21 inch torpedo tubes), mine clearance, EW, ASW.
