Coronet (No. 194), a motor boat purchased by the Navy, was placed in commission on 24 September 1917; Ensign J. R. Smith, USNRF, in command, and assigned to the 3d Naval District for patrol duty. On 5 August 1919 she was stricken from the Navy List and sold.
