Chinook

Former name retained.


Chinook (No. 644), a motorboat, was acquired by the Navy under agreement with the owner which enrolled her on 19 October 1917 in the Naval Coast Defense Reserve. She performed patrol duty in the Detroit River for a 4-month period, and was subsequently returned to her owner.
