Crocus

The well-known spring flower of the iris family.

The second Crocus, a lighthouse tender transferred to the Navy at the beginning of World War I, served throughout the war on the Great Lakes attached to the 9th, 10th, and 11th Naval Districts. She was returned to the Lighthouse Service 1 July 1919.
