Epanow

 

One of the first Indians to be taken across the Atlantic by the English.

Epanow (YT-275) was placed in service on 13 August 1943, served in the 5th Naval District, and was reclassified YTB-276 on 15 May 1944.  After a period in reserve she was reactivated on 24 August 1942 and has served at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and San Juan, P. R., through 1962.
