The second Felicia (PYC--35) was built in 1931 by Bath Iron Works, Bath, Maine; purchased by the Navy 8 April 1942 ; and commissioned 27 June 1942, Lieutenant K G. Crane, USNR, in command.

Felicia was based at Newport, R.I., out of which she sailed on antisubmarine patrols, until 10 December 1943. From that time, she operated locally out of Boston, training student officers in training at Harvard University. She was decommissioned 10 August 1945, and transferred to the Maritime Commission 23 October 1945.
