Echols

A county in Georgia.


 

Echols was laid down as APL-37, reclassified APB-37 on 11 August 1944, launched on 30 July 1945 by the Boston Naval Ship Yard, and sponsored by Miss Dorothy O'Brien. She was placed in service in reserve in January 1947 and was berthed in Florida prior to 1961 when she was moved to Norfolk.
